    How it works

Annual spring curbside collection for Grand Forks residents (2026: May 11–15). Place household quantities of bulky items such as appliances and furniture on the berm by the street by 7 a.m. on your street maintenance day; crews do not collect from alleys. Not accepted: propane tanks, commercial quantities, large construction projects, large piles of stumps or branches. The landfill has extended hours with free drop-off for residents that week. Outside Cleanup Week, residents can request an extra collection for a $48 minimum charge or use the landfill's free drop-offs.

    Cost & rules
    • Household quantities only; place on the berm by the street, not in the alley.

  1. Check whether it’s in good enough condition to donate or resell.
