    How it works

Ada County's landfill at 10300 N Seamans Gulch Rd., Boise, ID 83714 (the Census geocoder could not match this address, so it is recorded as a county program). Open Mon–Fri 7 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sat 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Only waste generated in Ada County is accepted. Its Recovery & Diversion Area takes household cardboard, scrap metal, tires and e-waste; mattresses go to the landfill.

Before you go

  1. Note whether it’s a flat screen or an older CRT (tube) set; many programs price them differently.
  2. Ask whether a cracked screen or broken glass changes the price or handling.
  3. Confirm the total cost, including any visit fee, before you load it.
